This old man, he used to be able to do a double back flip and catch a ball mid-air, springing about two meters off the ground. He used to run and chase tires, somehow avoiding becoming a dog pancake. He used to chase horses, leaping this way and that to avoid their hooves, kicking out with annoyance. He would bark and bark and bark until you threw a stick, for the 75th time so he could chase it and bring it back to do it all again.

Now, his back end is giving out, he barely wants to go on walks, he's slowing down.
